It was a bit sarcastic, but there was definitely some ripping and tearing of the fabric around the air lock. If the only object was to deflate the thing you could have achieved the same result by simply propping open the doors.

Yeah, didn’t look like there’s any intention of reusing it. That’s a bit upsetting, actually. Should have been able to repurpose it for something. I think there are still a couple of regular students in Pullman who probably could use some rec facilities. Not to mention those at the other campuses.
But, oh well. Athletes in Pullman don’t need it, so let’s just trash it.
Just to play devil's advocate, is it possible that the material in the 21 year old plastic bubble was reaching the end of its service life and expending a bunch of money relocating it would be wasteful?
