I know most of you (some?) are of the same apx age as I so I know this sucks for all of us.
Great guitarist, hell of a nice guy. He'll be missed... 65 is way too young.
Panama, Jump, Hot for Teacher..the list goes on.

Legendary. The best to ever do it IMO. Hairs on my neck still stand up at the beginning of Jump.

Eddie was the first person I'd heard play that made me want to pick up a guitar. The man was an innovator and virtuoso. Not a fan of how they did Mike Anthony, but after Wolfgang started playing bass the writing was on the wall.
RIP guitar God.

RIP Eddie Sutton.

Thanks for giving Paul Graham his leg up in the coaching profession

RIP Eddie. You inspired a lot of guitarists and your sound was unique. I am sure you are Runnin' With The Devil now.

At risk of sounding overly PC, that’s a pretty lousy comment to make in the wake of someone’s death.
Weren't you the guy who once said the fact that Swogger got married in college meant he was too stupid to play QB at WSU?

A band that I didn't fully appreciate back in the day. During the period of early 2000's .....I was thinking that music was missing a fun band like Van Halen. Music should be fun most of the time and he created that spirit. He'll be missed for sure.
