WSU has just offered juco 6'3 170 PG Ricky Torres. He is listed as a 2 star with St Bonaventure and a host of mid majors offering.It seems to be a strange offering as the cougs have several guards and seemingly need big men.His coach calls him a"poor mans Russell Westbroook." Go figure.

If I was going to pick a former UCLA player to compare him to it would be Jordan Farmar but I'm definitely not saying he compares to either. He's a PG but could probably play off the ball because he does have a scorers mentality (maybe that's the Westbrook piece?). Definitely does not have Westbrook's athleticism but a solid athlete.

Interesting offer given our roster.
