Renard Bell is a regular starter in our lineup with these stats this year: (3 receptions, 30 yards, 1 touchdown)
He started 3 games last year and played in 13, and in 2017 started 10 and played in 13. Air raid receivers are asked run routes and block well.

I am seeking information, not criticizing Renard.
1- Does his blocking and route running make the other receivers better and have better stats?
2- Is Renard open and overlooked by the quarterback?
3- Does he get open as much as the others?
4- Is it the position (H) that he plays that is harder for the quarterback to find or see him?

1. He's crafty and quick (like Harris) and knows the play book well. I think that helps out the other positions.

2. Gordon has completely whiffed on Bell a couple times. One being an easy, long TD pass.

3. See 4 below, + he's been a good WR down in red zone. 5 of his 20 receptions last year went for touchdowns. He has 1 TD this year on 3 catches, should be 2 Tds to 4 catches.

4. H has been the least used/productive receiver position since Leach has been at WSU. If I recall, only 1 year H has not been the least productive.

Renard Bell is a very crafty receiver in the red zone. Has a knack for getting open in the red zone. Good blocker as Leach has given him some serious praise in this area.

There is a rotation. It doesn’t really matter who starts and who is the next guy in.

Good point. I guess I was looking for information about what are Bell's strengths. Lots of good insightful feedback.
