He will be at a juco for this year. He is a 6'5 215 wing who committed to WSU but had to go the juco route. At one point he was throughout committed to WSU. I believe he will be highly recruited this coming year. However he was somewhat close to Flynn and he is no longer on the team. One hopes that the staff is in close contact with him. He liked Kent s offense ,so perhaps he will still come to WSU?I have not heard anything about him lately.

I think Curtis Allen was point man from WSU. And who knows, WSU may have moved on.

He also had a close friendship with Flynn. They had talked about playing together at WSU even after he didn't make it into WSU. Flynn is gone and I would not be surprised if that played a part. I am sure they have talked.

I think that he will end up at a P 5 school. He will be highly recruited by competent recruiters at the bigger schools. It will be funny when the cougs are a better team without Flynn. One wishes that Gittens would have waited a while to see what next year s' team will look like.Once Franks decided to comeback the outlook improved. I think that Flynn way overestimates his basketball ability. Somehow i do not think that SDSU will give him the free reign he had last year. The schools did not pursue like one thought they would given his paper statistics. The cougs will have improved guard play next year. However,Gittens would have been an excellent recruit and he will be a catch for some college team next year.

Gittens was like most a Curtis Allen recruit and I would look for him to join Romar and Allen at Pepperdine.

You will see him go to a big name program as he has stars in his eyes. The bigger programs will recruit him hard.
