Is the Kennedy Catholic game going to be played in Martin Stadium?
Or is the Kennedy Catholic game going to be played vs a GSL, Pullman High, Moscow High, Lewiston, Clarkston, etc, and Roll made the arrangements for the Kennedy Catholic team to watch a WSU game in Martin Stadium, after the Kennedy Catholic game?
A extremely smart move, like WSU HOSTING the Under ARMOUR 7 ON 7 or Raveling's Cougar cage camps.
Only bad thing about this, is this tactic will only work for WSU for the next 1,2,3,4 years, BEFORE NiL really gets going.
After NIL really gets going, this tactic won't work because a Kennedy Catholic 4 star can easilu get $33k at the right College(Not WSU).
About the best, WSU would get from Kennedy Catholic, even with Rolo's smart tactic, post NIL is to get a 3 star Shumpert type, as a 3 star Shumpert type is not likely to either get NIL money, or if gets NIL money, won't get as much, enabling a 3 star Shumpert type to goto WSU
And the crazy thing about that, is that Rolo didn't offer a schollly, and only offered a preferred Walk on, to 3 star Shumpert
In the POST NIL future Rolo will, would be LUCKY to get a 3 star SHUMPERT type of player as a schollly, and might lose the rare, occasional 3 star Shumpert type to NIL, POST NIL.
At the very least it gets their parents used to the 2 night minimum stay at local hotels
Life Christian, I believe, is very similar to an Archbishop Murphy. 1A but “recruits”athletes. Could be wrong though. I think I saw there were some pretty decent DBs from Life Christian the UW is after.
Keep in mind Kennedy Catholic is not a true 4a team either they opt up to the top division..
