Hmmm......he's only smiling in the Santa Clara uniform. Is that a clue?
Seriously, though, it's amazing to see the Cougars in a highly sought player's top five so often these days, especially when WSU is going up against some pretty solid programs like Tennessee and Florida. It wasn't that long ago the Cougs were competing with the likes of Portland State, Southern Utah, and Sacramento State.

I think there is about a 51% chance that WSU gets Reuben, because of Diongue, Gueye, and Efe.
Diongue and Gueye are from Senegal Africa, were 4.5 star recruits. Gueye was projected as a NBA lottery pick before he committed, signed with WSU, and currently Gueye is projected as a mid 2nd round if he leaves, and mid 1st round if he stays for Junior year
And because Efe is from Africa, and is currently doing good in the G LEAGUE, and Efe and Gueye both did awesome in the NIT.
And because Reuben's coach trust, believes in, and is pipelined into WSU.
And because Reuben probably had a good visit with Smith, Diongue, Gueye, Bamba.
And probably because Santa Clara probably doesn't have as many African players on their team, and probably not as pipelined into Africa as Smith, WSU.
Florida is the big threat, not Santa Clara.
And because I trust Smith's selling a closing ability as he is not only in the running, top list, etc, but he has BEATEN OUT DUKE'S, KENTUCKY'S, etc for Diongue, Gueye.
So I think WSU's chances are good.
That doesn't mean Rueben will goto WSU. He may go elsewhere, but there is a good chance(51%), that Smith, WSU gets him, and wouldn't be surprised if WSU gets him.
