Now that was an ass whupping. UW did not belong in the playoffs. Mutts are just lucky they faced a freshman QB. Otherwise, it's a major humiliation for a team that slid through a weak conference with pandemic quarterback problems.

Yes it was quite a beating. This was not a fair fight in the end. UW's defense did well enough but they will make the UW offense carry their luggage home for not doing their part.
Alabama is a young team and their QB is 18 years old. What will their team be like once he learns to pass.
Silly comment. If you're gonna take 4, who else belonged? Ohio State is getting boat raced. Michigan lost last night, for the third time. Now that was an ass whupping. Perhaps we should excise September from the calendar. Actually, Leach might be in favor of that too.If they really wanted the best 4. A modivated USC would have given them a run and UW knows that too.

Quick kick. " Receiver " in motion QB sneak. Both were plays in this game.Really surprised Pete didn't reach into his bag of tricks. Man, Alabama's defense was beastly. Makes good teams look inept.
That's silly too. If anything he wasn't cautious enough at the end of the first half.Peterson played NOT to get beaten badly.
Browning might be more overrated than Falk
Ah yes. Clearly not memorable.Quick kick. " Receiver " in motion QB sneak. Both were plays in this game.

Then why didn't he run out the clock down 3? Your theory doesn't add up.Haaaaa.
Humiliation in front of the Nation for 4,qtrs.
He tried to avoid 40+
Browning's a child who he didn't trust.

The Huskies got beat. Not like the beating they applied in the AC, but beat.Your girls got their asses kicked. Suck it up and go home to your Cal-Berkeley wife.

They lost 24-7 and only gave up 17 offensive points. Hardly a "beatdown of epic proportions." Washington belonged in the playoff, they just aren't as good as Bama. They can join the club of every other college football program. I don't get the argument that they didn't belong. They won their conference title and had a few dominant wins over good teams such as Stanford, Washington State and Colorado. Who would you have put in over them? Penn State? They had 2 losses. Oklahoma? 2 losses. Michigan? Please. If you are going to take out a team it should have been Ohio State. They not only didn't win their conference title, but proved yesterday they really were not prepared in the slightest for the game being played.
Not a fan of your typical smarminess but have to say that was well played. And you are correct, UW deserved to be in the 4 spot as much as anyone. It's just too bad that the rest of the college football world was that far behind Bama and Clemson. Made for a rather boring semis. Don't get used to it though. PAC 12 gonna go back through SC for the foreseeable future.Perhaps we should excise September from the calendar. Actually, Leach might be in favor of that too.

You'll have to tell me who claimed the 2016 squad was as dominant as 1991. I don't know anyone who said that. But using Matt Calkins' logic, WSU could have won if only they had scored 29 points in a third quarter in which they dominated ...
But seriously, comparing 194 yards in offense to the 334 WSU had in the AC is rather silly. Then again, your defense dominated a vanilla Alabama offense led by a freshman quarterback and coordinated by His Lameness. Dominating teams struggling at quarterback was kind of the huskies' thing this year. Hence, the perfect purple storm, which explains how a mediocre 4-5/7-6 gets hyped into 1991.

COMPARISONS to 1991? That's just like claiming it's 1991 again. Apparently.Guess you slept through the Seattle Times' 1991 allusions, huh, Rip?
Smarminess? C'mon! It's arrogance! Not a fan of your typical smarminess but have to say that was well played. And you are correct, UW deserved to be in the 4 spot as much as anyone. Don't be Oregon. It's the lowest common denominator. As the Oregon are saying....
Win a playoff game, then pop off.
Oregon is the Alabama defense of douche. That assertion is certainly open for discussion.

All hail the Kings of Almost!Nah fam. I'll take Oregon 7 days a week and twice on Sunday's over UW in anything.
All hail the Kings of Almost!
So you're 21 or 22?It only took 15 seasons for Husky fan's "This is our year!" to pan out.
