Because he doesn't care about football. In fact, he brought (IMO) an anti-FB agenda to the job. He came from the WTA and was a tennis player in college. Quite clear he resents the attention FB gets.
Why should Scott say jack about anything? He's got his 5 year extension in hand. He doesn't have to do a thing.

If he was in the north east someone would put a hit out on him. We are soft on the West Coast.
That is what F-ing kills me. Who would sign off on 5 years at $4.8 million for a freaking administrator? And twice as much as any other Commissioner? Oh that would be our wonderful Pac-12 President's, Ph.D's in hand. Good G-D thing they aren't running companies, they would all be bankrupt. And this while SF high rent long term lease thing is unbelievable. And you put 90 Pac-12 network people there? Christ you could run that part of the operation from ANYWHERE.
