I'm trying hard to not be pessimistic, but I heard the stats after the game and its hard to know what to make of them, especially in light of pretty much dominating the Wildcats.
5.4 yards per pass. Not great, especially for a team that runs a passing scheme.
Ward was a highest rusher, with 59 yards. Watson next with 56 and 3.7 yards per.
Again, the O didn't score 30 which is usually what gets a team over .500, but given how good our defense is there can be an allowance made, but I would venture that it would be 3 pts and not 7.
What am I missing?
I think that the WRs screens that consistently got blown up kill the average for sure, but they seem to be a staple of the offense so I'm not sure if its fair to discount them off handedly.
