I don't really care if a coach wants to be a lifer in Pullman or not. Given the state of the program in relation to what other places can offer a coach, we don't want a coaching staff without higher ambitions. I do take offense when someone suggests a coach should be given a long leash because they'll stick around forever. Judge them by wins and losses and how they recruit. Get rid of them if they aren't getting the job done.
If Rolo can't win six games this season, he should be fired. Period. There's enough talent on the team to win 6 games.
Agreed. While QB is one of the bigger question marks, he’s supposed to be a QB guy and there’s 2 QBs on the roster that have proven they can play. The rest of the roster is pretty damn solid. No reason to not win 6-7.

I do think Rolovich should get to coach at least two real seasons before his fate is determined. 2020 was not a real season.

This might blow your mind, but I can not be OK with a sub-6 win season AND realize that the AD is not in a position to fire the coach AND believe that a coach deserves at least two full seasons to be evaluated. It's totally possible for me to think this way.
That's a totally fair and possible way to think that way. And that's all you had to lead with. Instead you lead with a buyout/money point.
So he has to point out the obvious (that every Coug fan wants the most success for the program year in, year out), in order to validate his Coug-ness to you? Would he also have to bend the knee while professing this undying loyalty to Coug Nation upon this frequent request?
Bingo … I am wondering if that is their out… our coach can’t coach because the conference they are in dictates sun employees be vaccinated.
Either that or every time an unvaccinated coach pulls down their mask in the game it is 50k. Or the conference fines a cooqch who is unvaccinated x amount of dollars for not playing a game due to a covid outbreak.
