that Thorpe mentioned in his blog. Neither played today. That explains Charleston White's presence.
 
Barber was also out. Of course, Dotson has been out several weeks as well.

He reported Barber was out and that there would be defensive changes for Arizona.

Even without Barber and Molton, the defense held Arizona's top two backs to 30 yards on 17 carries. Yes, the QB, Randall, had 105 yards - 59 on one run - but the guy is a freak athlete. But Stanford's O-line is daunting, and McCaffery is incredible. Still, it would be nice to knock that smirk off David Shaw's face.

Martin was injured near the end of the beaver game, it looked like a shoulder injury from my vantage point
 
Our defense is obviously spotty at best. Every team we've played had been able to move the ball against us. We're going to have to put up a lot of points to beat Stanford, and I think we can do that.
