Well ok, I hope we get a whole roster of guys like River Cracraft then, because that's what this offense will demand of its receivers. On a positive note, if he does the OC/QB coach thing like Leach for less $, that's more for the assistants' pool. I assume Rolo will know who he wants for assistants, but it'd be awesome to convince Mason Miller to stay (Then again the R&S may have different keys for protections, dunno). He and Phelps are the only two I think are worth keeping.

Put everything we have to into receivers, line, and defensive coaching. A recruiter at RB is good enough, and if this offense does what I expect it to do, good QBs will continue to show up at the very least.

I expect a Rolovich-coached WSU team to either blow people out, or get blown out, unless there's a defensive renaissance not seen since the Price/Doba era. The run and shoot is heavy, heavy on sight adjustments. It's meant to adapt to what it sees in the defense, on the fly. Defenses that can cover our receivers in man have the potential to make us look bad. Defenses that can disguise their coverages effectively and fool EITHER the QB or the receiver could do the same. Or the offense can do that all on its own anytime the communication is off or people are seeing different things. Theoretically we'll run the ball a little more, but not much. Expect more turnovers than what we had under Falk or Minshew for sure.

I have no idea what the defense will look like. I'm sure it will be dictated initially by personnel. What it will look like in 3 years is anyone's guess.

Miller has already left. Mark Weber was his offensive line coach at Hawaii. He has coached at Oregon State, UCLA, North Carolina, BYU and a lot of smaller schools. He is no Harold Etheridge, who wrote the book, but who is?

Well it's either that or just burn the whole thing to the ground, use the remaining schollies on JC defenders, and start over, which next year would mean the D is likely to be even worse.
I don't agree that the defense will be worse. If they play their best 11 and then recruit for the system they install....they'll be better. They have the money to spend on a defensive staff that can make that happen.
