I'll start. I hate the Zags, and am rooting for NC. Hope they win by 20.

Big Spokesman article the other day about how BB has driven Gonzaga's enrollment and fundraising by leaps and bounds. No surprise, although I garnered that a lot of that fundraising was BB specific. Nothing wrong with Athletics helping your school. But a bit pathetic when that is your only identity. Unlike being a Tier I research university with growing enrollment and philanthropy despite poor athletic performance.

Rooting for UNC despite the fact that they beat our Cougs in the Sweet 16 a decade ago. A game in which every Coug except Baynes (swoon) had an off night. We could have won that game. As well as the Round of 32 loss the year before. One Harmeling shot and we would have had two Sweet 16's in a row. we should have hired Tony's assistant (forget his name now) when Tony left.

Memory lane.......

Sorry but loyalty misplaced. Zags win 76-73 as NC s rally by referees falls short.

I'll be pulling for the Tar Heels and Refs. Screw Gonzaga.

Way back in 1992, I was on the WSU Concrete Canoe team (nerdy engineer thing) and we competed against Gonzaga (and other NW schools) in the regional championship with a trip to Nationals on the line. Gonzaga had a great looking boat but it was something like 25' long with a totally flat keel. It took an hour and a half to turn the thing around. A big part of the scoring was a race where you were supposed to go around a buoy and come back. Because their design was too crappy to turn, they simply changed the direction they were facing in the boat and paddled in the other direction. They destroyed every other boat in the first round but finished last in future rounds when they were told that they had to follow the rules and actually "turn" the boat around the buoy. As far as I'm concerned, GU proved themselves to be cheating bastards that day and I've never considered them anything but cheating bastards. FWIW, we won the regional championship and finished 6th at nationals (out of 20 other participants) that year.

Screw Gonzaga. Go Heels!

Credit where it's due - every Coug had an off night because NC was a vastly superior team.

It's a meteor game for me, but I think the Zags take it.
