Elyse Bennett scored twice in the first fifteen minutes and the Cougs hung on for the win. Two days ago these two played a conference game; this one is considered nonconference. In the initial game the Coug ladies dominated the stats but only achieved a draw. Today's game saw the stats roughly equal between the two yet WSU won on Bennett's two goals. That's soccer for you. The stats may give you a sense of the game's play but the winning team is the one that takes advantage of the opportunities.
