I'm holding out a sliver of hope that perhaps if the future revenue was good enough from the current Pac-12 revenue stream, the Beavs/Cougs could/would get into the Big-12.

The more likely scenario is the rebuilding one.

Imagine you're on the board of directors for Pepsi. You accept an offer from Coke and give your 2 weeks notice.

Do you think for one second that you're invited to a Pepsi board meeting next week? Or that you should be?
