Even Larry Scott should be smart enough not to screw this one up and will move the game there.

Thoughts to improve attendance -play the game Saturday sandwiched between some type of basketball showdown with another conference. I.e - Friday have 3 Pac12 teams take on 3 Big 10 teams and Sunday have 3 Pac12s take on 3 from the Big12,SEC etc. Rotate the 6 teams every other year. Pac12 is horrible this year but hopefully won’t stay that way forever. Make it a Pac12 weekend where people come from all over the conference.

Vegas itself should be enough of a draw, no matter whether the game is Friday or Saturday. Direct flights from almost everywhere. Getting around the strip can be a pain in the butt, so I wouldn’t count on basketball games being the same day.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. I'd likely be there every year if they did this. The possible exception being fuskies vs. ruins.

With Vegas.....you don't need or want another event to feel obligated to go to. Just stick to moving the Pac-12 football championship game there.

I'm no Vegas fan. I'm not into anything that place really offers. But this is a no brainer if all things are equal. If cost isn't too high, things like that.

And the timing works well with Levi Stadium and its contract. From my memory, that contract is up after 2019.

It’s an easy flight from damn near everywhere in the conference. No shortage of hotels or things to do. Easy opportunity for schools to put together a fan/alum/booster events at hotels. Weather should be good for the game. Tons of reasons why.

This is low hanging fruit. Pick it.

It’s an easy flight from almost anywhere in the country.

Over 100,000 hotel rooms available. Maybe the only city we could put the game in that wouldn’t see rampant price gouging for lodging. At least, no more than on a typical Vegas Saturday.
