I'm so comforted by this news release. NOT.
If we don't make some serious moves quick, we are F-ed.
WSU and OSU need to do what SC and UCLA did….. smile, nod, lie…. then leave for the Big 12.
Losing the LA market with both USC and UCLA leaving hurts. Losing the 18th biggest market with CU leaving doesn't even make me blink an eye. Utah is an important Pac 12 school. For most to the two decades that CU has been in the conference, they have barely registered.
George has to be let go. Fans have zero confidence in his leadership even if he pulls in a reasonable deal. I think this will be salvaged but his leadership and ability to close and communicate is an issue. Cut bait.

The Commish, and the PAC 12's statement is pretty much doing the same kind of thing, as the Big 10, Big 12, etc, are doing the laughing, rabbit ear fingers, as they wait for the destruction of the PAC, and as Arizona, Oregon, UW, etc, wait to join either the Big 10, an or Big 12.
The PAC 12, Commish, Presidents, are not going to get anything but a BAD 10 to 15 to 20 mil per team deal at BEST.
It will be salvaged, just not in even a semi ok way.
At best, Arizona, Oregon, UW goto either Big 10 an or Big 12, and WSU, Ore St, Stanford, Cal, Utah, ASU stay together as the PAC 6, and get a 13 mil per team deal, and get SDSU, SMU, UNLV, Tulane, BSU, Memphis, CSU, Fresno State, and become the PAC 14 a hybrid, P5, P6, Group of 5 type of conference, with 1 CFP seat(A 11-1 conference champion(2,3 losses would disqualify for playoffs), and 1 additional NY6 bowl like Rose, Fiesta, Peach, Cotton.
And that's at best.
At worst the PAC 1,2 with WSU, Ore St, with a 5 to 7 to 9 mil per team media deal, and adding SDSU, SMU, UNLV, Tulane, BSU, Memphis, CSU, Fresno St, Hawaii, Wyoming, Tulsa, Long Beach St, New Mexico, New Mexico St.
To become a PAC 14,16 a G5, P6 conference with 1 either CFP or NY6 seat.
Your being HOMERISTIC if you think this will be salvaged in a good way instead of a bad way.
Don't take Biggs personal. He was BMOC 50 years ago at some half assed high school and then he was the ol' ball coach at a BFE college that recruited the backups of the starters at Class A high schools. His best days were 30+ years ago and they weren't even that good. It's understandable that he's jealous of Jake Dickert and everyone else.

Lol. Not that I disagree with your assessment of coach Biggs but maybe you should follow your own advice. You take his shit more personally than anyone. Then there’s loyal who unsuccessfully tries to tell him to chill out once a week. I think we all know who Biggs is and he hates us all anyways so who GAF.
What's funny is that Colorado leaving is purely psychological. They've only been relevant once since joining the conference and nobody in Colorado has cared about them before Sanders and everyone knows that he'll be gone soon, if they are even relevant while he is there. UCLA has long proven that it's possible to underperform even when you have talent.
I do think that the Pac-12 should announce that SDSU is being invited to the conference effective immediately...but what do I know.
