Worst loss of the season was definitely EWU. However, to win after being down 11 at half is a good win. OSU was on fire, and we were able to overcome it.

Yes losing and losing bad in Pullman to EWU for the first time since 1952 was worse.

OSU is ranked lower in the KenPomPoms - which really doesn't measure bad teams very well

Team Positives: WSU shot the ball extremely well and had only 8 turnovers in 45 minutes of play.

Team Negatives: Overall sub-par defense, especially in the first half. OSU got anything they wanted with little resistance. Free throw shooting was shaky.

Overall: Nice to avoid an embarrassing win and to stay competitive after being down by double digits at halftime. To be fair, OSU likely played its best game of the year and hit a lot of shots that they normally would miss this season. Unreal free throw shooting for a so-so FT shooting team. Cougs can't count on hitting most of their shots in the rematch, so the defense needs to do a much better job Thursday in Pullman.
