Wow the Auburn DT just got tossed. Really a tough call
I don’t miss Leach throwing the ball when in FG range and a chance to ice the game. Wins a win, but I think I aged about 10 years every football season.

Do you miss being down 28-3 to 17th ranked Auburn at their stadium and then reeling off 40 straight points and beating them by 9 pts.

Leach coached teams can beat anybody on a given Saturday, but can lose to BCS teams the next. He revived a dying program for which he deserves eternal gratitude, but I don't miss being up on a winless UCLA team by 32 (49-17) with less than 6:52 minutes left in the 3rd, losing that lead by the 7:31 mark in the 4th, and surrendering 50 pts in less than 21 minutes. All while rushing exactly 5 times during the entire catastrophe. The crazy, crazy world that is Mike Leach -- improbable wins, but then snatching defeat from the jaws of certain victory. Did I mention making EWU's Gabe Gubrud look like the greatest QB in history, in his first start.

It's better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all. We all went through the years of Wulff, Kent, Lees, etc.

But, WSU also went though a four year stretch where they were 37-11. I don't miss that. Yeah, there was a bad loss against UCLA. Sorry that an occasional bad loss gave you anxiety. But, there were many more great wins than there were horrible losses that gave us all great feelings.
