I really like this team. I hope to get down to Pullman Saturday to watch them play ucla. Hopefully they are feeling satisfied after stealing one in Seattle last night and the Cougs can come away with a W.

The culture of the program has changed for the better. Hopefully, the hard work and buy-in of what Smith wants to do will continue even if the wins will be hard to come by this year. The lack of good shooters, size, and depth were expected this year....but I did not expect the kind of defensive intensity and hustle that has taken place so far. The other thing I like is that Smith does not resort to hype and puffery after each game like his predecessor routinely did. He doesn't over-criticize players and he does give them credit when it's due. However, there's a lot more realism in his comments and he seems to not need the exaggerations and overstatements to sell the future of WSU basketball. He'll let the results speak for themselves. Refreshing.

Depends on whether they stuck around to get some extra shots up or get some extra makes in.

They are quite proficient at getting the shots up. Makes, not so much.

One guy in particular should NOT work on getting more shots up.
