Of course, there's the obvious, she single handedly outscoring UCLA 9-4 down the stretch. But Charlisse shut down 6 foot forward, Michaela Onyenwere, a former McDonald's All-American and All Pac-12 selection, at the other end of the floor, while doing so! I kid you not. The young lady can flat out play hoops.

No question about it. CL-W was left isolated on Onyenwere and Onyenwere couldn't get around her twice on the second to last UCLA possession. Close was screaming for a foul but it was shutdown defense on CL-W's part. She really rebounded well from the Stanford games.

Really good defense on the last 2 possessions in general. That could have been a 5 seconds call on the out-of-bounds play where they took the final 3.

That was some of the best D I've ever seen at any level down the stretch.

They actually should have best them by 8 but we pretended we were at the Coug on a few possessions.

Kami has a lot of Bob Knight in her...minus the nut job and abusive part

Meant to say in my last message that play was where their coach was going all Bob Knight was perfectly defended...as in text book

Absolutely superb coaching.

Yes- CL-W is extraordinary, and its a really good sign that as we are starting to play teams a second time none have figured her out. If anything, she is figuring them out. The only team with an answer was Stanford, but there are not very many teams that long and quick at every position. So funny how the Cougs have beaten the teams that beat Stanford this year, but head-to-head we couldn't match-up.
