Our OC developed Mahomes. Do you want to play in the nfl. Pullman is the place to come and train.

Our OC gave Ward his only scholarship offer out of high school. He knows how good he is. The real issue was matching NIL money with Ole Miss. 100k and it should be done.

Even 15k to 35k to 50k, in a NIL Deal would be enough to get WARD here.

BUT WSU can't even get a $7500 NIL Deal done for any of it's players so far.

So Ward wouldn't get sufficient NIL money to get Ward here.

To get WARD, others here to WSU, have to convince them to turn down bigger NIL money at other Colleges, because they have a better shot at the NFL, at WSU, etc.

Also Chun, WSU needs to get on the NIL ball.

Chun, WSU should be able to get a HOT WSU recruit, like WARD, about at least about a $5500 to $7500 to $10000 to $13000 to $17,000 Nil Deal.

And if they can't, there is a problem with WSU leadership, WSU alumi, WSU boosters, WSU fans, all combined together

I firmly believe he will come to Wazzu. The timing of him announcing the offer right after the bowl game finished was too coincidental in my opinion. You know he was offered the moment he entered the portal.

The pitch from Houston. Play in front of your family, bank a few hundred thousand, and remember, we’ve had a heisman winning QB.

Ward will ignore the Ole Miss NIL money, and choose WSU because WSU runs his offense, his former head coach is OC at WSU, Eric Morris will develop him better, he will be the starter, he has a greater shot at WSU of making the NFL, has a greater chance of becoming Pat Maholmes at WSU, over Ole Miss, knows if he goes to Ole Miss, he won't do as good in Ole Miss offense, may not start, lesser chance at NFL.

Same also goes for Houston.

Also Houston didn't make Ward's top 3 of WSU the frontrunner, where all the 247, etc, EXPERTS have him going, Ole Miss, and forgot who the 3rd was, but it wasn't Houston.

No, he will be getting 100k

Well I'll say this. Ward's mom only follows like 40 on twitter. Only coaches she follows are from Incarnate Word and WSU. Only head coach she follows which just happened yesterday is Jake Dickert. Just sayin...
Very good observation. I'm sold. This is as good of proof as you are likely to see, one day from his announcement.

What happens when your starting qb finds out the qb being recruited has $100,000 NIL deal on the table and you have $0?
De Laura has been gone since the day Rolo was fired. No reason to give him any NIL deal.

Oh I agree. It could still be a sore spot.

The entire Pac 12, minus Arizona, got caught flat footed on this. UofA just picked up another big timer from LA. One fuc$ing win season, took down the lionshare of the top 100 in California. It must be their amazing recruiting skills lol

I’d sell this as well.
Year 1 - Road trips to the Coliseum and Wisconsin
Home games vs Oregon and Washington in a rocking Martin Stadium.
If I was a player, I’d be jacked about that schedule.

Pick one ~ that schedule OR $100,000.

To clarify, the “247 experts” is one guy who made a prediction.

Depends where the 100K was from Assuming WSU was offering nothing. Prairie V AM, I’d take the schedule. A G5 or P5, I’d take the $$ unless it was likely I’d be riding pine. FCS could cost you a few rounds in the draft which would be more then 100K. You couldn’t transfer again without sitting out a year.

I was feeling good about our chances u til you posted . You tend to be wrong 59.5 to 78.989 percent of the time .

That’s fair. And not to move the goal posts on you too far… but some of these kids are poor. Money right now has more value than potential earnings down the road.

They had to, and did.
I don't believe that. Prove it. I'll believe it, if, when I see a CREDIBLE, official, semi official, etc, WSU source, proof of that. Until then, the biggest Nil Deal WSU got for a player was Borghi's Arby's deal that worth about $1500 a month, $5000 to $10k, total, etc, nowhere remotely close to remotely close to even 50k, let alone 100k. And until proof shows otherwise the most WSU would ever be able to do would be about $33k, at ultimate extreme best, which is why WSU needs to get on the NIL Ball, because they are definitely behind, not on Nil ball now.

Ward didn't get 100k, he isn't coming to WSU for BIG TIME NIL MONEY, he is coming to WSU for $17k to $27k at most and probably less NIL money, and because Eric Morris is at WSU, and because WSU runs his offense, and because WSU can turn him into a Pat Maholmes, send him to NFL, and because he will start, and because other then Nil money, he won't get those things at Ole Miss, etc
