The St. Brown Family

So we have one of the boys on our list of "wants" this season. Don't know the odds of getting Amon-Ra St. Brown. All of them either WR's or ATH's. Interesting sub-story for the next few years. Will be interesting to see how the family decisions are made.

We talked about this family a while back, when we first offered Equanimeous. This is the family that was putting out video's of their kids playing football (at the time the videos were put out, the kids were like 12 or 10 or something… waaaaaay young) that were sponsored by some "bulking up" company.

The dad, John Brown, was Mr. Universe way back when.

so equanimeous, osiris and amon-ra's dad is named john? perfect.

The meanings behind the names are interesting, btw.

Equanimeous, at least to me, appears to be a derivative of Equinimeous, meaning an equilibrium of mind. Balanced and at peace, kinda thing.

The other two are Egyptian gods.

EDIT: Aman-Ra (not Osiris like I originally posted) is the classic dude everyone thinks about when it comes to Egyptian hieroglyphs. He's kind of the Greek equivalent to Zeus.

Osiris is Lord of the Dead, with dark green skin that signifies rebirth.

Interesting stuff.
