I'm not looking past Cal, but Bonton is needed more vs. Stanford, IMO. I wouldn't be disappointed if he simply sits out tomorrow night in order to be even healthier vs. the Cardinal. Despite Bonton's issues, we got a glimpse of what things are like without him the other night and it wasn't pretty.

As frustrating as Bonton can be in my view he's probably more important than Elleby. If he can't go Williams, Robinson and Rapp are going to have to step up. That's college ball.

Without a true center, we need folks who can slash to the hoop. If Bonton isn't there, it needs to be somebody else. We have an over-abundance of 3's and not enough at the other positions this year; surely a couple of those 3's can penetrate??

Cannon, is probably the best replacement for Bonton, but he is a 2, not a PG, 1.

Elleby is next best at the 3.

Next best would be Noah Williams, but he is often times like the bad things Bonton does, and not quite as good as Bonton.
