Colorado state defense is pretty awful. Robert Ferrell will be back. Him and Ward had great chemistry at ICU. Ward needs a go to guy right now. Maybe Ferrell can be that guy. Need some explosive plays on offense. Stribling must win on the outside. Ward needs to improve greatly on his deep ball. Might be the week to get Jenkins more involved. We need some confidence on O heading into Oregon week. If Ward finds his groove we beat Oregon at home.

Did a business deal with his dad. I think it's more than just being rusty. I'll leave it at that.

He went from verballed to Stanford, walking on and playing at WSU, not on a team for a year or more, now at CSU.

Wtf is he doing? How are you both smart enough to get into Stanford but have these things happen?

I'd like to see CW target the middle of the field 5+ times.
I'd like to see CW recognize a blitz and make the appropriate adjustment.

Both should be achievable this week.

His issues aren't tied to a lack of book smarts or inability to get it done on the field. Hope he is able to figure things out.

This has all the ear marks of a "let down" game. It follows a very physical game, that was marked on the calendar, sandwich between Oregon. You have to be a hell of a coach to get the kids mentally ready to play this one. I envision an ugly struggle.

1. The Team has probably learned from what happened at Idaho.

2. In lots of talk from Dickert, it sounds like he is aware of the potential for what you think is going to happen to happen, so he says he is going to have the team ready, prepared for CSU, so he at least seems like he has learned from Idaho.

3. Team, players, Dickert knows that Cam Ward and the offense has NOT been good, and they have said that they want to use the CSU game to have the offense be good vs CSU.

4. CSU has been playing like Paul Wulf teams and have lost each game BADLY, by lopsided, BLOWOUT scores.

5.Because of all the above, altho it's possible that the game is a trap game, ugly game, because of what you say, it's LIKELY that WSU plays the game FOCUSED, TRYING to get their offense back on track, and so that they can pull, rest the starters, etc, for Oregon, etc.

6. Because of all the above the game is either going to be a BLOWOUT BOATRACE or a close win. Because of that the game probably won't be a mid range 2.5, 3, 3.5 score game. It will probably either be a blowout or a close 1.5 score or less lead, WSU probably wins by about a 39 to 16 type of score at minimum. At best 49 to 10. At worst: 29 to 27.

Normally I’d agree but I’d argue they had a let down game 2 weeks ago and the coaches are likely shoving their faces in that all week. Also, the offense has got to want to come out and put up video game numbers considering how blah they have been so far. 2-0 can’t feel very satisfying to that group. Lastly their biggest weakness squares off with our biggest strength. The front 7 should have a field day, and they’ve got to be excited about that.

I think we may see a 55-10 kind of shellacking.
