They are very frustrating but the judgment that they can't make the tourney is both too harsh and premature. The KenPom ratings have us at 43. We clearly need to play better in the stretch of games. Noah needs to get healthy and stop trying to always be the guy. I would go with the smaller lineup of Noah-Rodman-Bamba-Flowers-Jackson with Efe-Roberts and AJ off the bench. To make up for the bad losses we need some break through wins. This team hasn't yet reached its potential but I think it will.

That's only because Wooden wouldn't acknowledge Sam Gilbert's wallet.
Maybe you just forgot about him, but Gueye needs to be in that rotation....if not continuing to start. Jackson has done zip so far this year. Cougs could benefit if he got things together.

I did forget to add Gueye but my choice of Jackson was deliberate. He isn't as good defensively but Jackson gives them an offensive presence down low that neither Efe or Gueye gives them.
We only have 3 true "bigs". Gueye is going to get minutes. I'm hoping Jakimovski can slide to the 4. He's actually a good rebounder for being more of a perimeter guy. I would like to see if he could function as a stretch-4. He's shot and finished much better this year. Seems quicker so perhaps could handle 4s on the other end.
Well, he's done more than Jackson has this year. I'll give Dishon some slack for battling injuries, but Gueye's stats are better nearly across the board. Fact is, none of the 3 big men have done a whole lot but as Save Ferris says, all 3 are going to need to play unless you want to put deWolf out there for some meaningful minutes. If and when Jackson gets healthy, he'll get more minutes. But for now, Gueye should be out on the court as part of the rotation.
