I thought that this would happen. He has been out on the recruiting trail and i hope that he has been doing a good job.

Hopefully he hasn’t been actively recruiting as that would have been an NCAA violation, unless of course he was promoted earlier and they waited till now to make it official.

Was thinking the same but maybe they had some sort of waiver given they were short 1 assistant that could be on the road?

I know Graham Harrell was out on the recruiting trail before he was officially hired before the 2015 season. In football you can have a set amount of designated recruiters. Probably the same with basketball.

I believe that since there was a vacancy that his status was changed. temporarily. This action just makes the new assignment permanent.he seems energetic and hopefully he proves to be a very good recruiter.
