Top 4 for 2020 Carlos Rosario

Saw this on Brandx. Rosario's a 6'7" top 125 wing originally from the DR but playing in California. Announces next Wednesday. Seems pretty explosive, good wingspan, with some developing skills (shooting, scoring, handles). In a California ranking I found they actually had Rosario ahead of Dischon Jackson.

Would seem like a pretty good get.

He would be a nice get and the type of player that Coach Smith likes. At least we do not have to wait too long.

Can he shoot? And why is he still available? Did he reclassify?

Rick Pitino is now the coach at Iona. Don't know if that's the draw, but it could be a factor.

I'd love to have this kid be a Cougar. He could take the scholarship given up by Marvin Cannon or he'll perhaps get CJs if he goes pro. But I keep hearing Andrej Jakimovski from Macedonia is going to join the team and he would require one of those scholarships. So perhaps Rosario is the option only if CJ moves on, and that decision probably won't be made until August. We'll see.

A poster on Brandx has said Jakimovski has been involved in some way with team meetings. Maybe it's just a matter of when with him.

Can he shoot? And why is he still available? Did he reclassify?

Seems to have range but would bet he battles with consistency. No idea why his decision has come so late. Probably waiting for the spring to see if others would offer. Iona, Mississippi State (not in top 4), and Utah offers came in the spring.
