Interesting. Crazy that ND is twice as much as the next person on the list. Of course you all know that #6, Chris Del Conte, spent some time at WSU many moons ago (Dickson era I think). He has done well for himself.

ND not crazy - not sure the private salaries listed are at all comprehensive or accurate.

The Texas Tech guy being that high and Dan Guerrero still having a job and making that much (with botching so many football hires) are the real surprises

Remember Del Conte from a couple run ins. He was a kid and I wasn't much more than a kid. I'm not surprised he's done well for himself. He seemed intelligent, funny, and a "good guy" that people would want around.

I think he was with Livengood in the beginning but I don't know how long he was in Pullman before moving on.

Who is Ron Wellman and what has he done at Wake Forest that was so fantastic he earns $1.1M???

Can’t speak to why Wellman earns the salary he does, but Wake is a unique place. I believe they only have 5k undergrads, and they’re sandwiched between so many big programs. It’s amazing they compete in the league they do.

Maybe Bill Moos can write a check to the CAF now.

That really does chap my hide. The link to WSU Foundation recognition levels is below. Now this thing is probably a year or 2 out of date, so maybe old Moosey sent a check in recently. We'll see. But the lists are littered with Coug Athletes - and with the names of a lot of other people that don't and probably never made the kind of coin that Moos made and makes. And with the athletes - most of those guys, post-pro careers, have to live like normal human beings with a paycheck, nursing what they made as athletes for their retirement, etc. Mot Moosey - still making 1 million at what, 67 or however old he is?

Really pathetic, Bill.

Maybe this explains why he failed at raising CAF revenue. Couldn't even convince himself to donate.
