Clemson may have just booted Alabama out of the CFP, beating SMU at the last second.
Georgia also beat Texas again, and ASU pounded Iowa state.
With ASU and Clemson both being outside the top 12, it might knock out Alabama. Depends how far SMU falls. I feel like them and Boise should switch spots, and leave Bama at home
Edit:
After some review, here’s how I see the CFP:
1. Oregon, obviously
2. Georgia
3. Boise State
4. ASU
5. Texas
6. Penn State
7. Notre Dame
8. Ohio State
9. Tennessee
10. Indiana
11. Clemson
12. SMU/Alabama
#12 is too close to call right now. I think SMU should get the edge based on the fact that they at least played for the conference title and made it close. But Alabama has the history, and really has a better resume. Alabama is 1-1 against other CFP teams…SMU is 1-1 against the top 25 - and hasn’t played a top 15 team.
