Given how much production we have lost it wouldn't surprise me to see whether Isabell has any interest.

Haskins has recruited him before (away from Steve Ballmer and Lakeside)

All depends what the kid wants. We can't promise him post season, but he might want to get back to the Northwest, and it is still PAC 12

I think that there are several big name schools who will offer the guy. I do not see him coming to Pullman He will go to a school who needs the "missing piece" to round out a Tournament guaranteed team. I recently checked, and Louisville,South Carolina ,Seton Hall and SMU now involved in his recruitment.

Given Isabell 's history, there is no way in hell that he would meet the criteria for grad school at WSU. WSU has strict standards for admitting grad students and rightfully so.

Probably true, but the fact he has graduated suggests he may have turned things around. Doesnt help with pur grad school standards

As pointed out by other posters, the cougs have a hard time attracting grad transfers because of their policies regarding grad transfers. They have to have a high GPA and a good test score.

Doubt after the way he was treated that Isabell would have any interest.

The kid just graduated from Drexel and we want to talk about what he did in high school?

Ernie cut him lose before the kid graduated from high school. Even as desperate as Ernie is to stay employed there is no way in hell he asks Tremaine to come to WSU.

Isabell initially declared for the NBA draft, then decided to try the grad transfer route when he wasn't invited to the combine. I say try because he won't finish his degree until Sep 7 when summer school at Drexel ends. He still has a fairly impressive list of suitors including Louisville. Don't believe that WSU is a viable option even if he was interested.

Not if he still has summer work. How can any school admit a player for one year to grad school in September?

The way that schools are misusing the rule is beyond belief. There are at least 10 schools now pursuing Isabell.. I am glad that WSU is keeping true to its graduate policies.. I do not know Drexell, but one wonders how rigorous their academic requirements are for Isabell to be graduating early.? The guy had severe academic problems prior to enrolling there.. It does not really matter as it appears that his game has improved ,so that he will make a living playing basketball somewhere in the future.
