For what it’s worth Mark Atuaia was following him within minutes. Also, there is a conspiracy that Oregon is purposely having their players enter the portal and then “choose to return” to show the staff is really convincing players on the future.

That sounds like something UO would do. RB Sean Dollars put his name in the portal and then removed it. Remember when Mike Bellotti used to remove his name from consideration for other jobs? (Notre Dame, USC, etc...) I suspect he found out he wasn't going to be on the short list at those schools and made it look like it was his decision to stay at such a prestigious school. Made recruits think he was a coach in demand and that they would be privileged to play at UO for such a guy.
