Two Ex cougs on Clippers ..

.. Training camp roster. They are Charles Callison and Ike Iroegbu. So there you go, Hawkinson, Clifford are also playing pro ball in Japan. The dreams of the NBA die hard.

Are they in the g league. Neither is on the 16 man roster as of today

They are both in the G league affiliate.I seriously doubt that any of them will ever make an NBA roster. If they do ,more power to them.

Goes to show you why the Cougars are picked so low this year. Big losses from last year. All being paid to play this year.

That is one way to look at it.I commend these players for keeping their dreams alive. I still expect this years team to be a better team Time will tell.

Hawk is the only loss that isnt easily replaceable. Clifford is a great guy but he was a dinosaur in today's open court 3 point game. Callison and Ike are also great guys and borderline NBA caliber athletes but neither had any kind if offensive consistency. You can't play at this level if you can't shoot better than them.

Acquaah should be an improvement in the backcourt. Flynn is a gamer who will be better this year. I look for Franks to have a breakout year. Could be wrong but he has all the tools to be special. Also hearing good things about Skaggs who admittedly had less than stellar stats at prep school or JC.

Now it sounds like Bernstein may not be fuuly ready till conference. That will hurt.

The early schedule is a relatively easy one. If Bernstein is ready by Conference it should not pose a problem. The inside game is strong enough to handle the early schedule. it may be a fun season

There have been two timelines ,one the start of the regular season and two the start of the PAC 12 season.The team does need him for the conference games

I see the cougs with a winning record throughout the preconference games. If Bernstein is ready then the cougs may surprise during the conference games.
