Had an opportunity to sit with Brock Huard yesterday, late afternoon at The COUG.

He's doing the color for FOX. He and his close friends actually sat with us at The COUG, (we invited him to sit with us) as we shared our inside little table with them. Both Brock and I feel there will be an upset, mainly because of the state of the SC program, while the COUGS get it done.

You know what he told me? I didn't know this!! Kedon Slovis has NEVER, EVER played or thrown a ball in the rain. Another reason why he feels the COUGS will win. At 7am, it's dry in Pullman. Today's forecast shows heavy rain from 11am-2pm.

No one knows for sure, but I'm thinking there will be an upset today.

BTW, his 18 year old daughter is a GRIZ! (Montana).

Interesting for sure, but unfortunately, I think USC will rush for 250 yards and 3 long TDs.

How many rounds of jager-bombs did you order? I hear it’s even harder to throw a wet football hung over.

You know, I've always liked Brock. For the most part he's shown the Cougs a lot of love over the years. Hasn't really shown the smarmy arrogance you often find in former mutts that go into broadcasting plus I like his style when he's doing a game.
Seems like he's always had a little "Coug-ness" about him.

I’ve liked Brock as a broadcaster also. He‘s fair and does a nice job and he’s always been decent towards WSU.

In the past, we've had discussions about Brock. He's the no doubt has so much respect to the COUGS ever. He's such a great guy. Lives and moved his family to Denver. Worked the UCLA-LSU game. Just a great guy...but we've always known that about Brock! He's a great guy, (even though he's a dawg).

I would be more enthusiastic if there was more than 1-2 guys in the front 7 that can tackle. I would like to see the program get some good momentum and energy going, but feel like that’s a tall task for this defense no matter the conditions.

Exactly...you can tell he has a soft spot for the Cougs and really enjoys Pullman.

Fascinated by this theory that the Cougs are adept at playing in wet, cold weather.
Where is the evidence for that?

When he moved to Fox from ESPN, it was to do NFL games. I wonder what happened for him to go back to college games? It makes sense travel wise for him to move to the Midwest.

He also wasn't too happy when WIAA let the shutdown continue last winter while other states were opening up with his kids playing HS sports.
