The SDSU Aztecs fell to New Mexico at home. Izundu is averaging 3.2 pts, and 1.9 rbs with a total of 14 blks for the year. The Aztecs are 8-5 for the year. All the teeth gnashing over his departure makes it look silly The other board was awash with criticism on how big a loss he was. SDSU fan are crying in their beer.

Izundu was a high energy guy but oh so unskilled. Just the opposite of our other transfer. Que was pretty skilled but seldom seemed to play with energy or a sense of urgency. Contrast to Flynn Callison Ike and even Daniels last night. That is two games out of the last 3 when we took over down the stretch just when it looked like we had lost momentum

If this team does not play with emotion,they get their asses kicked every night. I believe that they can play competitive ball with everyone but UCLA and Oregon. They will be outclassed in these games. But if they play with great intensity they can play with the rest.

Izundu could have backed up Clifford but only had one real skill and his shot blocking created offense for the other team. Que lacked focus and effort and mostly played in a daze. I think we could have used both but at this point agree it's better the time is going to Franks, Pollard, and Daniels this year. I'm not missing King at the moment either.

Problem the next few games might end up a bit of a high point with the UW and hopefully OSU. What we are going to do without Hawkinson and Clifford inside for us I'm really not sure. I'm hoping Flynn is convincing a few more players WSU is an option.

They now have 3 scholarships to hand out. i think that Hill was a talent but he has caused problems with his coaches in High school,juco ball and now at WSU. He is not being missed

Going to be a different type of team next season. I am always a little concerned when a coach talks about getting a lot of offense from the transition game. In our case we need to add two very good 3 point shooters to the lineup along with Flynn. Acquaah Daniels and Franks along with the jc kid a are candidates.
