This is disappointing news that Dalton is moving on to Pittsburg.
We do have a 6’ 4” HS Outside Hitter signed for next year, but need another to go along w/Timmer.

I think in the ASU the announcer mentioned Dalton was in the portal. That was the first I had seen of it but it didn't appear Dalton was still in Pullman. Maybe it just wasn't a fit, COVID year, or whatever?

Pitt's a good program. Number 3 seed this year and I believe still playing.

That’s a big loss. Something seems strange as in the last two years WSU has lost Dalton, Luseby, Bradley, and now Pukis.

Idk, seems like the vb players are just following in their football brethren footsteps and looking out for #1. There's decent money in pro volleyball overseas.

Don't get me wrong, the whole me-first-jump-to-the-portal thing is incredibly toxic and degrades the integrity of team sports, but that's the landscape now and I don't think it necessarily means the lockerroom is bad.

With Bradley might have been a couple things. Her father passed away but at the time Dalton was still in town. We could have used all 3 this year.

Pukis was such a key player. Not sure how they absorb her loss but the portal giveth and the portal taketh away.

The Greeney's have been able to reload and not have to rebuild. Unfortunately, what should have been a great team may not be now.
