Ditto, but we ended up only a few rows from the floor, which made it fun for the rug rats. Way more fans than I expected and a fun, blow out win is always good in front of a Spokane crowd.
WSU needed that blow out at the Arena in Spokane, in front of the Spokane Crowd.
The only way WSU is going to semi win over Spokane Crowd, have Spokane Crowd be fans of WSU bball, goto WSU bball games in Pullman, have future bball recruits goto WSU, if they are good enough, etc, is to play semi good, semi ok teams, and regional teams, in the Arena, and BLOW THEM OUT, an or win close games against tough, super good opponents, and have the Spokane Crowd have a good time.
If WSU Bball keeps doing that, gradually, eventually the word will get out, and more Spokane Fans will gradually, eventually start showing up more at both Spokane Arena WSU bball games and WSU bball home games in Pullman.
That's why Gonzaga has both Seattle, and Spokane games, and how, why Gonzaga has used that to get more Gonzaga Fans to go-to more Gonzaga games in Seattle, Spokane, and to Gonzaga's home games in Gonzaga's home gym.
WSU blowing out EWU in the Spokane Arena was, is a good start to doing that.
