Vs Kal

Something we all know, but is being highlighted x 1,000,000.

Kent was balls

As bad a loss as any suffered by Ernie, Bone & Dick considering the opponent.

Nobody was watching.

And nobody will remember.

Certainly a step back from the UCLA game. I didn't get to watch or listen, but the stat sheet tells me that the defense wasn't as good tonight. Cal shot the ball well. Cougs shot about the same as most games....not good. I think this is what we're going to see the rest of the year. Some surprising wins and probably more clunkers. Very winnable game but ultimately a lost opportunity for a win.

One positive: looks like Noah Williams played well again, at least offensively. He's going to be a player.

Didn’t get to see the game. Wonder if Miller was hurt? He only played 9 minutes tonight. At the end of the UCLA game he came down awkwardly and limped off so maybe it slowed him down?

Team fought hard but couldn't shoot for you know what. Game was within 3 with under a minute left. Bradley hit a clutch shot with a hand in his face. Our first road game in over a month.

Hand wasnt in his face.

Williams gave up too much ground.

Don't think Miller was hurt. Just the way the game worked out. He didn't have a good game. He's too small to consistently mix it up inside. Bonton was on the bench for a long stretch in the second half because of foul trouble. Don't know which is worse. Play him and hope he doesn't pick up a 5th or sit him and lose his leadership and production. Seems to me the latter is the worse option.

Smith said Miller had turned an ankle in the UCLA game, so that limited his minutes and effectiveness last night. Shame, he might have made enough of a difference in that game.

Really need to get more out of Kunc right now....and I'm not sure why Jervae gets as many minutes as he does. Looking for a gradual transition to a lineup that includes Williams as a starter and more minutes for the other freshmen. They could really use Vova's size to help protect the rim although he probably just isn't ready to do much yet.
