...JDL looked AWFUL. I know the stat line showed he threw 3 picks, but that's not half the story. Throwing off his back foot and across his body, rolling out of the pocket and running 75 yards laterally and backwards before STILL throwing a pick, throwing into traffic. Wow. Guy is even more of a project than I thought, and unlikely to be a finished product before he graduates.

Agree. He was bad. Zona may have a QB controversy soon...and I doubt it if JDL would stick around for that.

I watched about 2 quarters of that game, the scramble backwards where he ran about 40-50 yards in the backfield was impressive, should have been sacked twice, but of course along with his creative play, it all ended with an INT, sums up his performance. He looked great in the small portions of the SDSU game that I watched, and as you recall he looked great in the Apple Cup for that matter.
The MSU game reminded me of the Sun Bowl, no accuracy, and when things don't go well, or his way, he develops an attitude, he can have a positive and negative influence on the team. I was happy he played well for WSU down the stretch last year, but in hindsight, you could tell he was already gone at the Sun Bowl. AZ has some good QBs options to choose from on their roster, another performance like that and the controversy starts. They play North Dakota St this week, it should be a win, but as we know FCS teams can surprise people, and NDSU is one of those teams, and the top ranked FCS school. The soap opera of AZ QB will continue, stay tuned.

NDSU has won like 10 of last 12 FCS national titles. I wouldn’t be surprised if they not only won bit ran UA out of the stadium.

I wouldn't be surprised either, and if NDSU does win, it's because JDL didn't play well and had 2 or more TOs . And I think the QB controversy begins.

You can’t put a 50% passer that turns over the ball on the field. Not in high school, not in college.

W Rolo as QBs coach or offensive quality assistant? My guess is if he’s going to resurrect his career if he still wants to coach, that’s where it will be.

He did sell his house, and is no longer in Pullman. He is waiting for late November when hiring season comes around. He does want to stay in coaching.

I can’t find odds anywhere

Vegas Sport book says NDSU -1, however the predicted score is NDSU 31 AZ 17, I do think if AZ plays like they did against San Diego St they win, however repeating that performance is the problem AZ will have.
