WBB Beyonce Bea

Looks like a great pickup. She doesn't have to be a star like she was at Idaho. Just by looking at her statistics, she looks to have an all around game that should replace the production lost with Ula graduating.

If I’m remembering, I thought she might duplicate Tara Wallack a bit. That’s not a bad thing, but the article paints a different picture.

We definitely needed to replace Ula. Really nice addition.

Impressive company in terms of efficiency! Her line against Utah: 25 points on 9-17 FG, 2-2 3FG, 5-8 FT, 10 boards.

It is kind of why I wrote replacing Ula's production. She is a different type of player than Ula. We will have to see how her game translates to the Pac 12, although she did put up great numbers against Cal and Utah. Having never seen her play but again looking at her stats, I think she may be much better offensively inside the three-point line. Ula is the better three-point shooter. They both are good rebounders and willing passers.

What we don't know is how they compare defensively.

I don't think it is unreasonable to say that with this pickup, next season is going to be the deepest team ever for women's basketball.

Ula was so good providing clutch 3s. She could get in a zone and pulled us out of some holes.

Definitely agree on depth. Deepest roster we have ever had next season. There are 6 with a good case to start, and that doesn't even include Jenna Villa. Wish we had a bit more quickness, but If we can stay healthy, we shouldn't have nearly as much of an issue wearing down next year.
