The cougs travel to Seattle to once again take on the huskies. Lets hope they bring the same energy again on the road. They beat a very good Cal team last week. Do you realize that Cal only lost to ranked Connecticut by 10 points on Conn s home court? The cougs proved they can beat a good team on the road much less a bad team. That shows good coaching from Coach Kami. The coaching stands out on this team. They lost to the huskies in Pullman with a lack luster effort. Lets hope they have good energy and their confidence has to be at a good level now.

Maybe they have some injuries or something but Cal's not a good team at this point. Lost to both us and UW last week at home. The Oregon and Arizona schools, Stanford, and UCLA are the really good teams in the conference. Colorado could be improved this year but I wish we had the Mountain schools for 4 games instead of only 2.

It looks like it's going to be a tough to find more than 5 or 6 conference wins this year. We seemed to match up pretty well with Oregon State last year so you never know where we might steal a game.

I am more optimistic then that. Tonight's game will say a lot about the rest of the season. I believe that the cougs may reverse the last game. Washington is a very improved team and will do well the rest of rhe season.

UW has improved but they are also a bottom third type team talent wise. We let them have their way with us last time around. This should be a winnable game for us. Need a couple other players to step up and make shots.

Hmm i am thinking that there are only 2-3 teams like Stanford Oregon State and Oregon that are almost unbeatable for most of the PAC 12 teams. Actually the cougs hung with Stanford during the second half.Tthe question is if Stanford took the foot off the pedal or did the cougs gain enough confidence to play much better during the second half?Part of that question may be answered as the cougs take on the 10-4 huskies today.

ASU beat Oregon last night and Arizona gave Oregon State all they wanted.

Good news against UW is we have only given up 3 points in 4 minutes and 30 seconds. The bad news is we haven't scored yet.

Gritty team win down by as much as 10 (I think). Hristova with 20 and Molina heated up late with 14. Subasic and Muzet with 20 between them was the difference and Muzet had 2 3s rim out on her or it would have been more. Motuga with 4 late free throws to put it away.

Muzet's becoming a pretty good shooter which was one of the parts of her game that was missing in years past. She looks very comfortable and with so much attention on Hristova/Molina she should get good looks.

Kami just mentioned a "big recruit" is visiting next weekend. Would love to know who it is. Maybe Charlisse Leger-Walker?

No idea However if it is leger walker she certainly fits the bill of a bigger guard or athletic wing. She is listed as being 5'10.The Canadian 6'3 big has garnered high praise for her inside =outside game. Coach Kami has it going on the recruiting trail as well.
