WBB: Jean Chiu (PG) signs

Chiu committed awhile ago, but maybe visa kept it from becoming official until now. My eyes say she can definitely play, but will need to adjust to the size and length in the US game. Has national team experience (U16/U18). Looks like she will come in as a Junior.

That surprised me when I looked at the roster. She's played at University of Taipei so I guess that started the eligibility clock?

Hopefully, she is ready to contribute right away. Obviously, depth was a problem last year, as the team was never good enough to overcome CLW injury. While the top talent may not be there, this team may be a little deeper.

After we didn't hear anything more about her, I thought the Cougs went a different direction. Coach must really like her to stay on her this long.
