Subasic Grad Transferring for her final year. The poster on brandx mentioned Oregon State being the likely destination. Interesting if that's where she lands.
I read that story over on BrandX as well. OSU is much better than WSU. They can use her but WSU cannot? Last two years, 4-14 in conference and 9-21 overalI, then 4-14 and 11-20. I guess the Cougars are starting a rebuild?Subasic to OSU. A post on brandx indicated the staff told her she wasn't in their plans or something. I have to wonder if the same was told to Muzet. While I get these things happen when there is a coaching change, probably the importance of playing younger players, I think it's a risk. Especially if a team we are looking up at seems to think she has a role with their program.

That is what is hard to fathom. Perhaps two of the best all time players and they were horrible. The recruiting has not been good and without good players, the program is only going to go one way, down. The hire sure looks good on paper and hopefully it works itself out for the best, but so far mildly impressed with the recruiting, not impressed with retentions and not impressed in the least with the actual coaching. Still early in Kami’s tenure But we were less than impressive with arguably two of the programs best all time players.
Cannon's somewhat comparable on the men's side to Muzet and Subasic. He wasn't a player that was going to take us to a higher level but if there isn't already players like Noah Williams and DJ Rodman on the roster, TJ Bamba coming in and they don't follow up his transfer by signing Rosario and Jakimovski his force out looks a bit different to me.Haha. I was thinking the same thing but couldn't remember the numbskull's handle. Subasic and Muzet are definite losses from an experience standpoint and I hate to lose them because of the time and effort they put into the team, if for no other reason. However, IMO neither is capable of taking a team to a higher level. The team is not bereft of talent. Hopefully Jones and Nankervis will have a full season. Sarver is a real talent. She and Cherilyn Molina have the talent to take over the point. Levy and Motuga are experienced starters. Hopefully the Leger-Walker sisters will live up to the hype. Most important of all is Murekatete. She has a ton of upside if Ethridge can get it out of her.
In any case this is completely Ethridge's team now. She has no excuses. She needs to show a lot of improvement this year and next. If not she's just another bust WBB coach.
I agree that Subasic and Muzet are not huge from a talent standpoint. They are decent players that are power conference players, but not difference makers. What I am worried is that the team takes a step back and it hurts recruiting even further.Haha. I was thinking the same thing but couldn't remember the numbskull's handle.
