The cougs will take on Southern U and Miami on two successive days this weekend in Miami..The first game is with Southern U which sports a 1-6 record Their record is misleading as they have lost to quality teams such as Oregon State #4, Olk State, Depaul #16,Rutgers.Texas, Nebraska, and others. The cougs 6-4 will then take on Miami 6-3 which was ranked in the top 25 before last week. Miami has lost to Oregon state 75-53 and Indiana at home 58-45 this season.. The cougs lost to Indiana 78-44 on a neutral court. The games will be a good indication if the coug team is improving.The cougs have a very difficult schedule and one has to tip their hats off to teams which play difficult schedules. To me is is better to play quality teams than to schedule cream puffs in the hope that they can pay their way into a 3rd class tournament at the end of the season. Go cougs!
