The cougs with a 10-12, 3-7 PAC 12 record take on Colorado and Utah this week.Colorado has a 14-7, 3-7 PAC 12 record this year. Last year the cougs beat them in Pullman 89-73 and lost to them 79-81 on the road. Next up will be Utah with a 10-11, and 3-7 PAC 12. The cougs lost to Utah last year 72-69 on the road. Look for the cougs to have their first PAC 12 sweep to even their overall record to 12-12 on the year.

CU has the same conference record but took Stanford to OT and played UCLA close. They look pretty athletic which we have struggled with when they defend us hard. We definitely need a couple Ws with the remaining schedule after this week.
CU has played most of their games closer at home.They did play Stanford at Palo Alto and lost in overtime. However, i see the cougs winning in Pullman. Bobbi Buckets lately has not produced in prime time against the better defensive teams. I see her scoring better against the relatively young buffs and Molina having a good game against their frosh PG.
I like it that Kami pulled some Bob Knight and sat some players after poor defensive effort. That said , it's been a really long time since I've enjoyed watching a player more than Bobi Buckets.
Her mid range game is off the charts. Nobody has a 1 or 2 dribble stop and pop anymore...NBA or otherwise. That's some Ricky Pierce, Jeff Malone, Jeff Hornacek type skills

Hristova has improved her 3-point shooting as well but it seems the better teams have been able to take her away a bit by overplaying her to keep the ball out of her hands or forcing her into off balance shots.
I feel like the other parts of the roster have developed over the year. Muzet may have grown as much as anyone on the roster. She's shot well from range, penetrates and either finishes or creates for others, and uses her length well defensively. We actually can put a pretty good lineup on the floor at least offensively that should be able to compete.
The sad thing is while players are developing we lose are 2 best talents at the end of the year. Would like to know how recruiting's going.
Histova had 5 pts until the game was out of reach.She has not shown the ability to score against a quality defender when the game is on the line. I hope that Coach can figure out a way to get her open shots at the start of the remaining games.
Colorado is beating the cougs like a drum It is 38-25 at the half The cougs were outscored 9-2 at the end of the half. Histova has 4 pts at the half as she seemingly cannot score on a tough defensive player. Dear Diary the Euro leagues are calling.Maybe the cougs can mount a huge comeback.

Great come from behind win by the lady Cougs! I couldn't watch it live so I recorded it and turned off all social media and texts so as not to spoil the game.
Man..buckets couldn't buy a bucket but made a huge steal and a and one to take the lead for the first time and hit those 3's in the 4th.
Need to get her looking to score more early on imo.
Thank goodness for Molina. She played lights out in the 2nd half. Great minutes by Subacic and Muzet.

CU’s trapping zone gave us all kinds of trouble in the 2nd and first half of the 3rd quarter. They seemed to wear down in the second half and Molina first and then Hristova found their rhythm.
Utah’s probably an easier matchup although Maxwell’s going to be tough to stop.

Molina put the team on her back and carried it to victory. The buffs trying to stop her left Histova very open for a couple of 3 s and she drained them at crunch time.
