WSU up after 1st quarter 14-5. Defense has been excellent. We missed open shots or we could be up much more but good start.

FInally got connected down here. Krystal needs to shoot those from the free throw line instead of dribbling into the defense even more. I sometimes thinks she tries to get too creative.
Agree. We have had a few mid-range shots I thought we should take. We just need to make open shots.
I believe the starters have gone the entire second half.
Molina definitely needs to get on the court more. Get her 20-25 minutes by rotating out the other 3 guards. Gives them more rest as well.
That call on Molina with 1 second left on the shot clock was brutal.
I thought we passed up a lot of good looks. As I mentioned earlier, that jumper from the elbow was open for KlW..but she keeps trying to feed Bella. One of them she took...but she hesitated trying to feed Bella...and I thought it took her off of her rythm. I think we just need to pull the trigger on those shots.
A few other times I've seen players pump fake...and rather than 1 dribble and shoot...they are dribbling into the defense.
Basically I thought we left a lot of good looks out there on the floor, I thought Teder had a few nice looks that she didn't pull on.
I do like experimenting with small ball and subbing Motuga for Molina. We need the offense.
All in all, this is a fun team to watch. Just wish we could have pulled the trigger on what I think are some good looks that the offense is providing.

I think this team should borrow the Butler slogan: Gritty. Not Pretty.
Their height disturbed a lot of shots. Molina made a pretty amazing shot in the first half over 6'7" Prince. She had 2 good looks off of penetration late in the 4th that just wouldn't go down for her. Ula, Teder, K & L-W, and Bella all missed shots they shouldn't miss. We let them off the hook too much. I just think we need to use the bench more. Clarke should get more time against OSU. I was surprised we didn't see some of Nankervis.
Definitely left a lot of points out there today. Still, this team is really fun to watch. The passing and IQ is really amazing at times. Just need to finish a bit more.
Yeah I liked the looks Molina got late.
I would also like to see more of Emma.
I think it was UCLA where she had like 6 pts in just a few minutes. Definitely would like to see more of her. Maybe even as a 4 to start
My hope is that these close losses put a fire in their belly rather than discourage them.
