Our ladies pulled it out but it wasn't easy. We were up by 17 in the second quarter- or maybe third- and Kami was putting in some reserves. The second half- not so good. Fourth quarter was almost a disaster. Inbounding the ball while under pressure was a problem. Not to whine but I considered some of our blocking fouls were somewhat questionable. The thought occurred to me that perhaps the ref was an old WAC ref. Not serious, of course, but we got no love on the calls.

They need to use the bench more but in the Mountain some of the subbing they were doing was probably because of altitude plus heading to CU Sunday. They couldn't stop Bella in the first half and they subbed her out. She didn't really find the same rhythm although she ended up with a career high in points.

I thought some calls were missed or flat out blown in the second half but a win is a win especially on the road. This team is good. As good as the start I keep coming away with thinking they can play a lot better. Also, Charlisse has been awesome but Krystal plays a really good point. Needs to cut the turnovers but she does some things that are special.

When you lose your best player since Trisha Lamb, and are clearly better, you are heading in the right direction. Finally, the Dick Dickson curse is at an end!!!! I will shed a tear when the OSU of women's basketball gets that tourney bid. 30 years is way too long.

I was able to see some highlights. I am down in Costa Rica and trying to see if I can stream Pac 12 network.

I saw Bella make some moves that I didn't know she had in her. Looked a lot more coordinated offensively. If she can score the ball consistently, look out!

Having a lot of fun watching this team.

Bella plays with so much energy but is starting to slow down a bit and take better shots.

Both Leger-Walker sisters had big games today. Krystal leads in points with 25. She really settles things down. Needs to drop the turnovers but otherwise she's does a great job at the point. Charlisse goes for 18 points, 6 rebounds, 10 assists, and 6 steals. Good game from Ula as well getting her first double-double with 11 and 15.

We played a bit slower today and CU hung around a bit. Really good road sweep. Yeah, fun team to watch!
