Getting the 3-seed and the 1st Round bye in general is huge for us. Leger-Walker sisters both go 40 today. We seem to be peaking this year late, but still a lot of minutes on the starters. Stanford almost kicked one away against the UW. Just proves anything can happen this time of year.
We get the winner of Utah/Cal. Utah has a bunch of shooters but not a bad matchup for us. Next game would be winner of Oregon vs. UCLA/SC.
As the 3-seed, we should have already earned a First-Round bye in the NCAA Tournament but until the name is called you never know.

I kind of like the Utah match-up. Obviously we lost by 6 to them at SLC. That is a good psychological edge, and they will be coming off a game 24 hours earlier. On a neutral court with tired legs (theirs) we should be ok. Even now, nobody thinks they are going to lose to us, and they are looking past to Oregon, Arizona or Stanford, which is perfect.

And yes, women do drink Michelob....in commercials.
It's a pretty good matchup for us. Good team but at least they don't have a bunch of 6'5"+ bigs, extreme athleticism, or both. They can get hot from the outside though.
Creme still has us as a 10-seed against Nebraska.
