WBK: Cougs face USC Sunday in final home game

The cougs lost 74-63 in their last game as 6 0 forward Pili destroyed the cougs at home with 23 pts and guard E Rogers chipped in with 21 pts. The cougs will have to do a better job containing them. Chenelle also has to rediscover her 3 pt shot which has been terrible for about the last 5 games.This game is a very winnable game

Cougs getting whupped. It is 34-19 in the first half with time to go This is a strange team this year and play is inconsistent to say the least.

It is 49-29 with 3 minutes to go in 3rd quarter. Molina playing well . B Buckets has 6 pts and zero rebounds in the game.

Its 53-42 starting the 4th quarter. Molina has 14 pts as does Bella M in 16 mins of play,b Buckets with 6 pts and zero rbs

Final USC 66 WSU 60, The cougs rallied but could not convert in the final minute. C Molina had 23 pts and 5 rbs in to pace the team Bella M had 14 pts and 6 rbs, in a good showing by the frosh. Histova had 11 pts on 5-17 shooting and 1 rb for the game. USC was paced by 6'0 forward Pili with 32 pts and 12 rbs in a dominant performance .The cougs end their home season on a losing note.

I agree Tami is a very good coach. However this is a post about WBB. I have enjoyed their season I was hoping for a .500 season and a trip to the NIT .However a brutal schedule and inconsistent play did not result in a winning season.

Disappointing season thus far. They still could play the spoiler roll in the PAC 12 tournament which would at least add some excitement going into next year. I really thought having two of the best players in program history on the same team coupled with a decent supporting cast would generate more wins. They aren’t playing very good basketball right now. Without Buckets and Molina next year could be rough. The cupboard won’t be completely bare but it will be hard to replace those two.
